Can't see the windows close/minimize buttons

Feeling like a newbie windows user here, somehow I got the main KS window “maximized” to the point that I can’t see the windows 3 buttons in the upper right corner anymore, and I can’t get my taskbar to show on that monitor either. I don’t know what this ultra-maximized mode is and since I don’t know what to call it, my google-fu is suffering. I’ve tried adjusting the properties attributes in the app shortcut properties window and for the app itself, and any other troubleshooting from a windows point of view isn’t telling me anything. Its akin to adobe’s mode in PS or IL where you hit tab and it takes over that monitor and forces it to the front. only way to see anything behind the KS app is to alt-tab to another app. the taskbar DOES show on my 2nd monitor. I’ve tried all the workspaces, and none of them fix it, so this might very well be some sort of windows presentation mode that I’ve triggered and cant get rid of it. any Ideas? as you can see, no windows bar buttons in the upper right and none appear if I slam the cursor around to the edges of the screen.

Note- even the windows “grab the app window and move it” trick isn’t working.

Lol, yep, I’m a moron, I hit the F button for fullscreen some point last week and have been pulling what’s left of my hair out trying to figure out what the heck I did. I literally just found the option in the menus, not sure how I missed that.

I’ll leave this here for a little laugh for those that need it, and no matter how much of an expert we think we are, we can still get stumped by the littlest of things :slight_smile:

Haha you’re not alone. Today I did some weird resize of the KeyShot window and it was gone below the taskbar I think. And I also tried the ‘move’ screen but that wasn’t helping since I couldn’t see the window.

While I think it would have worked if I enabled autohide from the taskbar that option is quite far away in Win11 I did the always working Alt-F4 :wink:
